Warranty Policy

advanceIP warrants the Products distributed by it to be free from defects in materials and faulty workmanship under normal usage and storage for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of the purchase invoice provided all installation and operating procedures as described within the appropriate user documentation and product labeling have been adhered to and the hardware has not been tampered with. Furthermore this Warranty excludes damage to the product which is deemed at the sole discretion of advanceIP to be caused as a result of abnormal usage or abuse and or tampering and or misuse and or weather conditions such as lightning storms or water. If during this twelve month period a defect covered under the terms and conditions of this Warranty should occur, the product must be returned to and collected from advanceIP for repair unless otherwise agreed in contract of sale. The cost of freight and insurance to and from the office of advanceIP is at all times the liability of the purchaser unless otherwise agreed in contract of sale.

The warranty terms and conditions for products distributed by advanceIP are listed below; proof of purchase will be required as a condition of receiving warranty service.

The Warranty is not valid in case: Proof of purchase is not accompanied with the warranty claim / The Apparatus is not used according to the supplied User Manual /Defects are caused by improper or reckless use / The serial number is tampered / Software, interfacing, parts or supplies not supplied by advanceIP are used / The defect is due to Virus infection / The proof of purchase documents have been altered in any way or made illegible./ The model or production number on the product has been altered, removed or made illegible. / Repairs or modifications and alterations have been carried out by unauthorized persons. / Damage is caused by accidents including but not limited to lightning, abnormal voltage, water or fire, natural disaster, acts of God or while in transit to service center or to the purchaser’s site.

Exclusions and Disclaimers: The liability of advanceIP is limited to the maximum of repairing or replacing the faulty product only. This warranty does not cover for the losses consequent in nature, including but not limited to such as data loss, loss of business etc./ The Warranty is not applicable for scratches and/or breakages of plastic parts and/or aesthetic parts. / The Warranty is not applicable for the accessories / peripherals external to the equipment./ The remaining period of warranty after a warranty claim, remains in force only for the unexpired period of the warranty of the original product. /The time taken for repair/replacement and in transit whether under the warranty or otherwise shall not be excluded from the warranty period./ advanceIP and/or its authorised service centre, reserve the right to retain worn out or defective part(s) or component(s) replaced during the course of the repair carried out under the warranty repair./ In the event of any unforeseen circumstance, and spares not being available, the company's prevailing depreciation rules will be binding on the purchaser to accept as a commercial solution in lieu of repairs./ The advanceIP warranty does not cover products and/or product parts that are subject to wear and tear like Rubber parts, Paint etc. or which can be considered as Consumables - parts like batteries, etc. /The warranty does not cover defects due to misuse or neglect and/or site conditions that do not confirm to the recommended operations of the product, as determined by the authorized service center. / The warranty is not transferrable and extends to the original end user of the equipment only.


If the product fails to work as warranted above, advanceIP’s maximum liability under the limited warranty is expressly limited to the lesser of the price paid for the product or the cost of repair or replacement of any hardware components that malfunction in conditions of normal use. Except as indicated above, in no event will advanceIP be liable for any damages caused by the product or the failure of the product to perform, including any lost profits or savings, business interruption, loss of use or any other commercial or economic loss of any kind, or special, incremental, or consequential damages. advanceIP is not liable for any claim made by a third party or made by you for the third party. This limitation of liability applies whether damages are sought, or a claim made, under this limited warranty or as a tort claim (including negligence and strict product liability), a contract claim or any other claim. This limitation in liability cannot be waivered or amended by any person. This limitation of liability will be effective even if you have advised advanceIP, or an authorized representative of advanceIP, of the possibility of any such damages or even if such possibility were reasonably foreseeable. .

Even though advanceIP and its agents have reviewed their documentation and tested the Product software, firmware and hardware , neither advanceIP nor any other individual or company who has been involved in the creation, testing, production or delivery of the advanceIP Product documentation, software, firmware and or hardware make any warranty or representation, either express or implied, with respect to this documentation or the software or the associated hardware and firmware, their quality, performance, or fitness for any particular purpose, nor shall they be liable for any direct, incidental or consequential damages, loss of anticipated profits or benefits resulting from any defect in the software or hardware or firmware or documentation. The documentation and software and hardware and firmware is sold "as is", and the purchaser assumes the entire risk as to its performance.

Procedure for warranty claims

In order to register this warranty, the end user of the products is requested to fill out the online web based warranty form or complete the warranty registration card and return it to advanceIP within 10 days from date of purchase. In the absence of a timely filed warranty registration form the end user must present a dated invoice of sale prior to receiving any warranty services. 

The end used should notify advanceIP within 7 days after discovery of the defect in the product, following which advanceIP will check if the said product is covered under warranty and may ask for a copy of the sales invoice. Once it is confirmed that the product is covered under warranty, advanceIP engineers will try to diagnose the problem remotely. If the problem cannot be rectified advanceIP will issue a Return Authorisation Number to the end user to return the defective component to advanceIP. The Return Authorisation Number must be clearly marked on the package. DO NOT write on or apply shipping stickers to the original manufacturer's box. DO NOT use the original manufacturer's box as the shipping box. Products not double boxed, without Return Authorisation Numbers on them or those with writing on the original box will be refused or returned at the customer's expense. Once an Return Authorization number is issued the product must be received within 10 business days, returns received after 10 days may be refused. All costs of transporting and insurance of the component to and fro advanceIP shall be paid by the end user.
